• About Johannes Apfel:
  Music is the passion of my life, producing and playing music every single day - is it an addiction or a calling? - YES ;-)
  I have been playing guitar pretty much my whole life and started teaching guitar in my early teens. I played in rock bands and the school big band at the age 15. Directly after graduating from High School in 2010 I did an internship at the oldest private recording studio of Germany: Bauer Studios.
  Afterwards, I studied El. Engineering at TUM and hold a M.Sc. in which I focused heavily on analog and digital audio signal processing, e.g designing and building analog microphone amplifiers and implementing real-time audio processing algorithms. I apply my deep knowledge of psycho-acoustics, room-acoustics and analog/digital signal processing in my music productions.
  Today I perform live music with different bands and work in my studio as a recording/mixing/mastering engineer and producer. I also work as a session musician.
